The Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) is coming to London, and you can watch the action unfurl on Horse & Country.

Royal Hospital Chelsea

The LGCT has three legs in August, at three incredible locations. The 12th leg is in Berlin, leg 13 (unlucky for some) takes the tour to Royal Hospital Chelsea in the heart of London, while the 14th event heads to Valkenswaard, The Netherlands, spiritual home of the tour, which was founded by Dutchman Jan Tops.

We are showing the action from these three events throughout August, so you can watch your favourite showjumpers compete in the world’s most glamorous destinations.

Ben Maher retains top spot

It has been a thrilling season so far, and as the 2018 tour heads into the home stretch, Britain’s Ben Maher has held onto his place at the top of the leaderboard on 237 points.

Australia’s Edwina Tops-Alexander is in second place on 199, while just one point behind her in third is world number one Harrie Smolders (NED), who won the series last year.

Scott Brash has dropped to seventh place on 157 points, but with five legs remaining, there is still everything to play for.

The US riders Jessica Springsteen and Jennifer Gates were both competing at the superb central London venue, and Jessica has also been competing in the French capital, Paris. Continuing the glitz, Jennifer jumped in the chic Monaco leg of the 2018 tour. This is a truly global and international series.
