You can watch Europe’s most promising equestrian athletes competing in the FEI Pony European Championships at Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire, England. This major competition across the disciplines of dressage, showjumping and eventing takes place August 7-11.

Olympic disciplines

H&C is showing highlights from the three Olympic disciplines of dressage, showjumping and eventing.

The championships will see around 500 riders, aged 16 and under, from more than 20 nations battle it out for individual and team medals.

Fast and furious

The competition is fast, furious and very serious, and the riders selected to take part are the future stars of equestrian sport. Many go on to become some of the most successful and well-known riders in the industry.

The championships start with an opening ceremony in the Bishop Burton Arena on the evening of Tuesday 7 August and the event closes on 12 August – when the best of the bunch will head home with medals around their neck.
