Horse & Country is excited to bring you exclusive coverage of the Longines Falsterbo grand prix from the world famous Falsterbo Horse Show.

‘I love this show’

Falsterbo is the biggest horse show in Sweden and its grand prix attracts the world’s best riders, including Bertram Allen, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Peder Fredericson and world number three Steve Guerdat, who took the title last year.

Steve described the win as one of the best victories of his career.

“I love this show, but I kept on not delivering,” said Steve after his 2017 win. “I came year after year hoping to win something, but I always went home frustrated on Sunday night because I tried my best, but I never could get anything. I am just so, so happy to have finally won.”

Best showground

Falsterbo Horse Show started in 1986 and the event has grown bigger each year. It is now one of the best outdoor showgrounds in the world.

There is a huge range of showjumping and dressage classes, from young horses and ponies right up to five-star competitions, including FEI Nations Cups team contests.

The nine-day show culminates with the Longines grand prix — which you can watch on Horse & Country in our exclusive highlights show.
