World class showjumping and dressage stars are heading to Chester in the north of the UK in just a couple of days’ time for the Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show – and you can watch the action on Horse & Country US.

Breathtaking backdrop

It’s hard to believe Bolesworth horse show started just 11 years ago, as it is now one of the most well-established equestrian events in the UK. Its spectacular setting, with the castle providing a breathtaking backdrop, and great facilities for competitors and spectators alike has put the show on a par with top vents the world over.

We at H&C US are showing highlights of the CSI4* Equitop freestyle dressage (Saturday, June 23 at 7pm Eastern) and the CSI4* Equerry grand prix showjumping (Sunday, June 24 at 8pm Eastern).

Top talent from Britain and the USA

Showjumpers to look out for in the grand prix include British number one Ben Maher – who is on incredible form at the moment – crowd favourite John Whitaker, his nephew William, and Harriet Nuttall. From Ireland there is Shane Breen, Trevor Breen and Conor Swail, while from the USA, Bolesworth International welcomes Laura Kraut, Jessica Springsteen and Eve Jobs – the youngest daughter of Steve Jobs.

Last year at Bolesworth, Eve had the biggest win of her career, taking the CSI4* 1.45m speed class. It was the talented 18-year-old’s four-star debut and she is definitely one to watch this year.

Dressage: Carl and Charlotte

Dressage at Bolesworth International only gained its four-star status last year, but it has already made its mark on the world of dressage.

Names to watch this year include Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin, who will be riding their current stars and potential World Equestrian Games rides, Hawtins Delicato and Mount St John Freestyle. Both combinations are on flying form, taking the top two spots in the grand prix and freestyle at Royal Windsor Horse Show in the UK in May.

Don’t miss this spectacular event on Horse & Country. Bolesworth 2018: Equitop freestyle dressage premieres on Horse & Country TV on Saturday June 23 at 7pm Eastern. This will be followed by Bolesworth 2018: Equerry grand prix showjumping on Sunday June 24 at 8pm Eastern.
